Wishes for family
With family you can be warm and a little nostalgic. Mention the rituals you share — lighting diyas together, Lakshmi Puja, rangoli at the doorstep, the first faral of the season. A line like “Missing our Diwali mornings at home — sending you all the light in the world” says more than any long poem.
Wishes for friends
Friends appreciate humour and plans. “Sweets on me this year — Happy Diwali!” or “May your Diwali be brighter than your phone at full brightness” are perfectly fine. Pair them with the fireworks, rangoli or cute designs.
Wishes for colleagues and clients
In a professional setting, keep it gracious and brief: thank them for the year’s work together and wish them and their families prosperity. Avoid religious references unless you know the person well, and choose one of the Corporate designs, which automatically use “Warm regards” as the sign-off.
- Thank you for your partnership this year. Wishing you and your family a bright and prosperous Diwali.
- May this festival of lights bring new opportunities and success to you and your team.
- Warm Diwali wishes from all of us — here’s to a wonderful year ahead together.
